Why am I seeing Google names instead of Discord or Roblox usernames?

If you're handling a player report, you may now see that reporters can submit reports using their Google account names, instead of using Discord or Roblox logins.

Why is this happening?

This change was implemented because Roblox deactivated our login application, which means that we can, for now, not accept Roblox logins. Because Blox.report covers a large range of games with playerbases that extend beyond Discord, we've added new login methods to ensure that everyone can submit reports, even if they don't use Discord.

Does this mean that I can no longer use Discord or Roblox logins?

Nope! We're still accepting Discord logins as normal and, as mentioned above, Roblox logins are currently unavailable. If you have a Discord account, you can still use it to log in and submit reports. If you don't have a Discord account, you can now use your Google account to log in and submit reports. We want to give everyone the ability to submit reports, even if they don't have a Discord account. As we expand and improve our platform, we'll look at adding even more login methods so that anyone can submit reports, regardless of what platforms they use.

Are there any changes to your privacy policy?

As this change does change the way that we handle user data, we've updated our privacy policy to reflect this. You can read the updated privacy policy here. As a bit of a TLDR, we've added what we store from Google logins.
